JUBA, FEBRUARY 8th 2023 (SUDANS POST) – Kush Bank, a South Sudanese-owned business company, on Tuesday opened a new branch in Gumbo- Sherikat of Rajaf Payam, Central Equatoria state.
The new branch aims to promote financial inclusion among the South Sudanese and the business fraternity as a whole, according to the bank.
The new branch brought the total number of branches across the country to seven.
The latest branch brings a big relief to the community in Sherikat as now they can access affordable banking services from Kush Bank without the inconvenience of long-distance travel for transactions.
Speaking during the launching ceremony in Sherikat on Wednesday, Mr. Armando Sirolla, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Kush Bank, said the new branch brings a big relief to customers living in Sherikat.
“They can access affordable banking services from Kush Bank without the inconvenience of long-distance travel for transactions,” said Sirolla.
Sirolla said the financial institution was determined to contribute to socioeconomic development across the country.

He said the Kush Bank’s clients can operate their accounts from anywhere there is a Kush Bank branch, and even more conveniently, through mobile and internet banking.
“You can deposit money at the Sherikat branch and withdraw it in Yambio or other places. For business people, this is very convenient.”
Mr. Mohamd Nur, Deputy CEO of Kush Bank said the bank is developing solutions to support financial inclusion and the government’s efforts to improve the lives of the people of South Sudan.
