BREAKING | Kiir fires NCA Director General Napoleon

JUBA – President Salva Kiir has dismissed the Director General of the National Communication Authority, Napoleon Adok Gai, in a Republican Decree read on SSBC Friday.

Mr Adok, who served in the position for four years since his appointment in August 2020, was replaced by Gieth Kon Mathiang.

Kiir also sacked two Undersecretaries at the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Wani Ladu Kenyi and Yath Awan Yath.

The two undersecretaries are replaced with Thomas Gatkuoth Yak and Martin Mabior Mawien, respectively.

No reasons for the reshuffle were given.
