BENTIU – A group of South Sudan Intellectuals from the country’s Unity state have asked president Salva Kiir Mayardit to reappoint Dr. Joseph Nguen Manytuil as the governor.
This comes as the parties to the revitalized peace agreement are preparing to appoint the governors as provided for in the revitalized peace agreement.
“We urge president Salva Kiir Mayardit to reappoint Dr. Joseph Nguen Manytuil as governor of our state because he has done the much needed work from the citizens,” the intellectuals said in a statement extended to Sudans Post.
“This phase is for development and so best performers among our politicians have to be appoint to do the work and one of those his Joseph Manytuil,” the statement added.
