Perceived son of President Salva Kiir Mayardit kills 4 over land dispute

JUBA – A perceived son of South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit gas opened fire on civilians killing four people, the army spokesman Maj. Gen. Lul Ruai Koang has said.

The army officer known as Lual Marine who is said to be a son of the president came to Sherikat and opened fire against civilians killing four  people.

The incident took place at Shirkat residential area at around 9:30 AM.

General Lul said the shooting was sparked by a land dispute between the son of President Salva Kiir and local residents.
