Minister Gatkuoth who was also the Chairperson of the SPLM-IO National Committee for Information and Public Relations died of heart-related complications in Cairo on June 19, just two days after he was flown in from Juba.
In a statement, Gattiek Gatkuoth Wichar, the spokesman of the ministry of water resources and irrigation said in a statement extended to Sudans Post that the 40th Day Memorial Prayer for the late will take place tomorrow Sunday, August 28, 2022.
“I would like to announce to you all that the 40- day prayer for the late. Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hon. Manawa Peter will take place on Sunday, 28th of August 2022 in Medan Simba (Simba Square) near Al-Giada Military Headquarters at 11:00 AM,” he said.
“All friends, relatives, colleagues and the general public are invited to attend. May his soul continues resting in eternal peace,” he added.
