JUBA — A team of investors from the United States of America has arrived in Juba and was meeting the minister in the office of president Barnaba Marial Benjamin this afternoon, according to the presidency.
“The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Hon. Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin held a meeting in his office, with the Minister of Wildlife, Conservation and Tourism, Hon. Rizik Zachariah Hassan together with a team of investors from United States of America,” the presidency said in a statement seen by Sudans Post.
In statements to the media following the meeting, minister of wildlife conservation and tourism Rizik Zechariah Hassan said the team and the South Sudan minister had a successful discussions with the visiting US business group.
“Speaking to the media after the meeting, Hon. Rizik Zachariah Hassan said they had a successful discussion on areas of cooperation in Wildlife and Tourism,” the statement said.
For their part, the US “investors expressed their interest to invest in Wildlife, conservation and Tourism sector and stressed that the cooperation will further new relations.”
