JUBA – Authorities in Unity state’s Mayom County have confirmed that an attack believed to have been launched from neighboring Warrap state by armed youth has left at least 20 people dead including 12 children and 5 women.

The attack took place on Saturday morning and targeted a cattle camp belonging to religious leader Gatdeng, according to a former opposition official.

“Today, 03rd April 2021, the cattle camp of Mayom county’s spiritual  leader Gatdengkuoth( Dengloth) came under serious a attack in Buode at 2:10 AM, by armed youths of kongor and Lou, where more than 20 people were confirm killed, they left twelve (12) children and five (5) women dead,” Gatkuoth Mut Turoah said in a statement to Sudans Post.

Gatkuoth who is previously the spokesman for late opposition leader Peter Gatdet said the “children [were] under the age of two (2) to seven (7) years and dozens injured. The attackers are believed to come from Warap state.”

He said around 10,400 herds of cattle were stolen only to recover more than half of it.

“They go with 10,400 herds of cattle but Mayom youths managed to recovered 5,700 herds and the youths are still pursuing the remaining herds of cattle,” he said.

“I am absolutely saddened by the gruesome slaughter of defenseless civilians of Mayom Community by a well-armed proxy youths from Warap state. This is condemned in the strongest terms possible. I have keenly followed the events of gross human murder unfolding in Unity state’s Mayom County for long time,” he added.

He further accused SSPDF soldiers in Warrap state as the main sponsors of the attack

“Government soldiers under division (3) in Mayienjur are the main sponsor and executer of such atrocities. We have recorded at least two (2) incidences where The cattle raiders are putting crystal military uniforms and heavily armed with machines guns,” he said.

Well, Mr. Gatkuoth should not blames the youths of Warrap communities, because the White Army and their militia have had attacked Warrap communities frequently. In 2020, there were a very heavy attacked on those two communities which he had mentioned them. They have attacked Mayen Jur border with Mayom county and they have attacked Twic Mayardit community so this was a revenge the youths of Warrap communities have done but should the youths of Mayom communities repeated again perhaps, the Warrap youths will do same thing. I think Nuers communities must accepted peaceful coexistence instead of looting animals belonging to others people.
Please keep singing about youths of Warrap communities but the reality is there, the White Army are they one who did it first and the youths of Warrap communities just made revenge. If the Nuers don’t a cross border to attack Dinka then, the Dinkas people would not go there.

This is the results of greeds deeds of Bul Community when they decided to work for Jieng and turned to their own community of Bentiu.

Now don’t ever think that other Nuer cares about your suffering because you made them enemies to you.

And the saddest part is that this unlaw killing will not even be in the front pages of Juba newspaper because no one cares..

I personally condemned the deadly attack launched unknowingly on Nuer cattle camp taken away enormous of cattle and killed of innocent and venerable groups. both communities had been engaging in cattle theft and raiding which is extremely bad I don’t see any stability in staying together they should refrain from this issue caused many lives lost every year.

Sudans Post propagandists even seem not to know where ‘Kongor and Lou’ are in South Sudan’s geography there we go. Kongor is here in Jonglei state in Twic East, on the Nile East Bank. The Lou Nuer is now into Jonglei state again, because they were unable to manage their then allocated state to them in then 32 states.

But as always, everything that goes wrong on this planet earth is always ‘the Jaangs/Muonyjiengs/Dinkas/Jenges’s fault’. Tell me the most lawless animals on this planet earth, and I will not accused a four-legged while animals, but our Nuers ke nyantoc idiots.
