Egypt, South Sudan to conduct trade far in Juba next month – minister

South Sudan government and its Egyptian counterpart are ready in preparing for conduct of a trade fair in the South Sudanese capital Juba, according to a visiting Egyptian minister.

JUBA — South Sudan government and its Egyptian counterpart are ready in preparing for conduct of a trade fair in the South Sudanese capital Juba, according to a visiting Egyptian minister.

This comes following a meeting at the state house J1 between President Salva Kiir Mayardit and the Egyptian minister of water irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aty who is in the country for a 4-day state visit.

Speaking to the media, the Egyptian minister said his Northern African country and South Sudan will hold a trade fair during the second week of July in Juba to boost trade and exchange of good between the two countries.

“Egypt will hold trade fair in Juba between the date of 13th – 16th July 2021, aimed to boost the exchange of goods and trade between the two Countries,” he is quoted by the presidency as saying.
