The top South Sudan intelligence official made the remarks in Juba on Monday during the opening session of a three-day regional meeting of the African Union’s Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of African.
“Sanctions are largely growing as foreign policy tools and political instruments for Western Powers to advance their strategic interests whereas their popularity is growing,” General Simon Yien stated.
For his part, the minister of national security Obote Mamur Mete urged African countries participating in the meeting to come up with a solution and correct what might have gone wrong that has led to the opportunity of imposition of sanctions by the West.
“The sanctions are coming from us because we are fragmented, this chaos doesn’t emanate from somewhere, why do we allow it, there must be a yardstick, come with a solution and we must come together,” the senior government official said.
“When we are fragmented, we become weak but when we are united, no one can tempt with us,” he continued.
“We are in a war, but sanctions are only imposed on African, and no nowhere and it emanates from all of us. We have been misused throughout our ages against our own interest,” he alleged.
“If you see what engulf the whole region, our problem in the whole region is lack of knowledge of ourselves, we are bondage of this borders,” he added.

And if we allowed this ti happen, then our citizens would come rise up again that their country is being taken over by foreigners. And another deadly war would again engulf the entire region.
Fellows, read the South Sudanese people lips. We would want to know, who in South Sudan would want the so-called AFRICA UNITY or REGIONAL INTEGRATION.
Just give every able South Sudanese who carry his/her gun to protect his/her self. There would be fireworks.
