KHARTOUM – South Sudan’s controversial main armed opposition commander General Johnson Olony Thabo has questioned whether President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his group are sincere with themselves after a delegation led by Kiir’s security advisor, Tutkew Gatluak, and the country’s spy chief, General Akol Koor, visited him in Khartoum in an attempt to lure him for return to Juba.
Last week, Gatluak and General Akol were in Khartoum leading a high-level delegation that included the minister of East African affairs Deng Alor Kuol and the governor of the country’s Jonglei state and other senior government officials.
“They came to me, showered me with praising words and I listened to them. Finally, they said they want me to join them, to be a government supporter and be integrated into the government and be assigned as one of the military leaders,” Olony said, according to Paris-based Sudan Tribune.
“They said I will be assigned the command of one of the sectors. They talked of sector 1. I said sorry and we broke up. Our talks could not proceed, and they left. That what they came for,” he added.
The senior opposition commander who is the SPLA-IO commander of the group’s sector one accused President Salva Kiir and his group of playing what he calls a game of the kids because the same president rejected his nomination as governor of Upper Nile state
“What kind of these people?” Olony asked. “Look, yesterday they rejected my nomination and today they came and asked I should go and work with them. What kind of game are they playing? That is more than the game of the kids.”
“Until today, as I speak to you and which you know, forces in the cantonment have not been passed out so that reunification of the forces is done. The state governments have not been fully government. the transitional national legislative assembly has not been reconstituted and others. And how many months are left to go for elections?
“I don’t know whether Salva Kiir and his group are sincere with themselves.”

Well, no politician in South Sudan is sincere with him/her self in South Sudan. But the foreign puppets/stooges and traitors like Mr. Johnson Oliny are the worst. Why are the likes of Mr. Oliny, Lam Akol or Riek Machar always in North Sudan, South Sudan and South Sudanese people existential enemy?
If it weren’t these foreign puppets/stooges habitual high treasons, then South Sudan would have establish herself by now and our still occupied areas by our enemies would have been on the way to be taken over. But as always, everyone in South Sudan create problems or throw tantrums like a baby and then blame their treasonous behavior on the Jaangs/MounyJaangs/Jenges/Dinkas, Jieng council of Elders (JCEs), Mr. Salva Kiir and his allies.
Yes Mr. Salva Kiir and his bunch of lowly informed advisors have let these traitors and foreign puppets/stooges run amok with South Sudan and the South Sudanese people for a long time.

If truly the 2018 peace agreement is going to success to have gateway peaceful coexistence and reconciliation as well as healings process when will these untouchable generals will go? General Olony Thabo and others people who believe they are powerful than anyone else, they must recall the founders generals who were very powerful in the SPLA/ SPLM but where are they now?
His Shilluk Agwelek Division will do nothing if we want to deal with him. We can drafting 1 million Machar Anyar youths in Bhar El Ghazal Regions and send to them to Upper Nile Regions to see if that will be the solution they wanted in Upper Nile Regions. The world have already recorded down that, the SPLA I0 led by Riek Machar Teny was defeated Militarily and this is why the peace agreement was the only solution to make sure the people wouldn’t be suffering any more. Please keep singing about Dinka in Upper Nile State and keep singing about not coming to Juba but at the end of the day, you will be caught up and you will be responsible for what you have been doing in Upper Nile State.
If the implementation process went successful later on and his militia allies are integrate with the SSPDF soldiers as one National Army in the country, who will appointed him to lead a Division? Same President which he is not respected will be in charge of all National Army. I think the educated Shilluk people need to involve and advise general Johnson Olony Thabo properly because if they don’t do it then, his behavior and his actions would harms the entire Shilluk community this is my sincerely view and I have to tell them because they are citizens of the Republic of South Sudan nation.
Olony deserves our thank for disappointing those who tried to lure him recently. If they really want him to hold a position,Why didn’t they appoint him as governor for upper Nile when Machar nominated?
A country like South Sudan would prosper if it weren’t run by these dunderheaded bunch of vultures that want to reap from people’s collective efforts. These Jieeng stooges reduced South Sudan to nothing. I agree wholeheartedly with mighty Olony that Kiir has never been sincere with himself. In fact, how a fool like Kiir flunked by JCE would be sincere of himself? Look at how a country run by the stupid majority failed miserably? People that see food first before anything else. I can see from the comments above that the stupid majority kept spreading the venomous and toxic childish thoughts almost everywhere.
Now, in order that the country should return to normalcy Kiir and his stooges should leave the country to those with brains. We have PHD holders who are being held hostage by Kiir’s stupidity. No one gives an opinion as long as Kiir treats rivals as the target to his downtrodden leadership. Therefore, the failure of the country is solely the responsibility of president Kiir and no one else should sink with him. South Sudan was far better during the days of president bashir than its now at the hands of kiir and his own thieves who sucked the country to death. South Sudan as a country is being looted beyond repair with foreign debts that no amount of recovery is enough to rescue her back to normalcy. We are doomed by the failure of leadership of kiir and his cohorts. God knows what lies ahead. heads up to general Olony!
