JUBA – South Sudan’s opposition nominated governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal state Sarah Cleto Hassan Rial has met lawmakers representing the state in the recently revitalized transitional parliament in Juba and discussed cooperation in advancing the interest of the people of Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

“It was a pleasure to meet today in Juba where we pledged to work together as a team to serve the state and the people of Western Bahr el Ghazal. Our strength is in our unity,” she added in the statement.

She further said the meeting “also discussed ways for the state government, national ministers, and the legislative assembly members to cooperate and coordinate their work together in addition to putting aside our political differences and work for the citizens of WBGS and South Sudan at large.”
