JUBA – President Salva Kiir Mayardit has said that his government will prioritize economic and security sector reforms to end the suffering of the people of South Sudan once and for good.
The South Sudanese head of state made the remarks on Sunday during his key address he made from the state house J1 to the nation as the country marks 10th independence anniversary.
“The priority of the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity is the full implementation of the agreement with a focus on security sector and economic reforms,” he said.
“These two priority areas will stabilize our country and ensure economic growth through an increase in production leading to socio-economic development,” he added.
