KUAC SOUTH – A person was killed and three others injured when a gunman opened fire at a market in Gogrial West County of Warrap State on Tuesday, police confirmed.
The incident occurred at Yith-Liet market in Kuac South payam.
The area Police Inspector, Joseph Mathony said the suspect was arrested and is being interrogated.
The intention of the shooting, however, remains unknown.
“The serial killer attacked the people at Yith-Lieth. He began shooting a man whom he killed instantly and fled after injuring three others. He was being pursued until he was caught,” he explained.
Mathony said one of those injured, identified as Bol Mayuat, died despite attempts by relatives to save him.
He other injured victims were Madut Manyuat Madut and Ayom Abuk.
