JUBA – A senior member of South Sudan’s Jieng Council of Elders (JCE) has said that the group does not support President Salva Kiir Mayardit saying the government in Juba has failed the country citing the harsh economic conditions the country has been going through.
Joshua Dau Diu, the JCE spokesperson spoke in an interview with Radio Tamazuj saying they endorse the outcome of the National Dialogue which called for President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his first deputy Dr. Riek Machar Teny to avoid standing for another term in coming elections.
“When we were participating in the ND, reports that came from the citizens say the president and his vice were the main cause of the war in the country and if any one of them stands in the election and wins, the other one will begin to fight again. So, there was a suggestion that both of them should not participate in the election. But what we could say is that in the coming period, it is political parties that will decide on their candidates,” he said.
“If the party of Riek Machar nominated him to stand in the election, no one has a right to reject that. If Kiir’s party nominates him for the election, no one also will say no, because both are being chosen by their parties. We are not a party and we can’t agree or reject the nomination of anyone.
“There is a big difference here, the people know leaders who contributed to the destruction of the country and failed to restore stability in the country. The people know that both of them fought, recruited innocent civilians as soldiers, and denied the country’s development. The people will decide who will rule this country. When leaders are brought through an election, they will no longer depend on military power like it is now. So citizens have a final say.
“We have never been supporting the government of Kiir as a Jieng nor as a person. We were supporting the government that fought and helped the people to gain independence. We wanted a government that governs with justice and peace. We have never been taking sides with the president nor have we been ministers or advisors to him.”
“Jieng Council of Elders says it no longer support Kiir”
You low lives have been informed all along that your so-called ‘Jieng council of elders (JCEs)’ are not who run South Sudan behind the scenes. But as always, everything is all about Jiengs/Mounyjiengs/Dinkas/Jenges. Tell us our fools, what country on this planet earth which doesn’t has her elders? ‘And I will drained the whole Nile with it tributaries of water’ All these Jieng council of Elders are superior educated than your fake PhD doctors of Mr. Riek Machar, Lam Akol and most of your white Americans and English criminals.
And they know the damn game than you fools and your masters. Let any low life brings the *Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, Voodoo, Islam or Hindu into our country and over our country ever again, and that South Sudanese would be as good as dead, reasons, pure HATRED and RACISM*
Mr. Salva Kiirand his bunch of lowl informed advisors was told long time ago to be very very careful of so-called so-called allies but they listen. South Sudan is the one going bomb these vermins/parasites of these planet earth. Mr. Riek Machar was hidden by the UN in compound in Juba and took to *Khartoum in 2016* and lied through teeth, they took Mr. Machar from Democratic republic of Congo (DRC) on humanitarian grounds, oh really?. Why didn’t the UN criminals took the low life to Kampala, Kinshasa, Kigali or Nairobi?
Mr. Salva Kiir and some of his lowly informed fools are the ones who are playing games with our country and our people. Mr. Riek Machar shouldn’t have been allowed out J1 complex. But our Salva Kiir and his bunch of lowly informed fools had ‘ a cold feet’. And these days, they just go after lowly informed South Sudanese.
Absolutely, the resolution of National Dialogue is what the vast majority of South Sudanese people wanted.
Both leaders President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his vice President Riek Machar Teny have nothing to offer to South Sudanese people. It is also true if both leaders went on contested on general election and if one of them wins still the other will rejected and the war might return so it would be wise Idea for them to steps down and let the South Sudanese people decide who they like to lead them. Dr. Riek Machar Teny has been causing more and more problems but when he returns to his position then, he was doing worse look how he is making appointment of his wife Angelina Jang Teny, his Son in law Kang Chol and many others relatives. If become a President of South Sudan perhaps, it will take most important positions and given them to relatives.
On the other hand, Kiir Mayardit is also too weak to lead, the country has been unlawfully governed since he took office. The corruptions people are working in his government and he is not saying anything, there is no regulation hence, the business people are selling Items at the markets according to their own choices and the buyers citizens are paying the price because the absence of government regulation.
The people who are surrounded President Salva Kiir Mayardit doesn’t cares how badly the country is failing as long as they are benefiting from him. Our big problems in South Sudan are: 1 Tribalism 2 favoritism 3 nepotism 4 alluding 5 cultures of violence 5 uncivilized people 6 taking side and with all these example, it is very hard for South Sudanese people to agrees in one point to says, let us unify as citizens. If the South Sudanese people were United perhaps, the two leaders would have gone long time. How will you considering yourself as a president of the nation when the civilians are killing themselves and you can’t prevented it. There is no one day pass without hearing too many dies a cross the country this is absolutely indication that, the President Salva Kiir Mayardit is unable to controls the country. I think this is the time for South Sudanese people to forcefully these two leaders because they are not functioning well.
I think you don,t mean it if you talk in that way JCE if you mean it ,that mean , something is going well in peace implementation in the country guys i have seen there is a move going with the president kiir by appointing the governor of uppernile state that is the Good move with the president we need to appreciate him for that for the first time and God blesss him.
many thank for the above order
Vomits once you swallow,JCE today is trying to distance themselves from government after they made it failed, all south sudanese are witness to destruction you made, thousand of Jieng died due to your reckless involvement in affairs of the state, shame on you.
Kiiriek has to listen to the people of south sudan, they’re not longer needed, they have express their opinion through ND,both of you had failed our earned nation, war and corruption are the only legacy you would be remembered of, tribalism you sow would remains.
JCE admitted their malicious behavioral, after complete destruction of the who will here these killers insiders since 1991 and before may God curse you and you descendants for the crime you have made against innocents citizens of this country I am very sorry to here from you those words.
