Kiir fires undersecretaries for 3 ministries

South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a series of presidential decrees firing undersecretaries for at least three national ministries as well as firing a high court justice.

JUBA – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a series of presidential decrees firing undersecretaries for at least three national ministries as well as firing a high court justice.

In the decrees read out on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) last evening, Kiir fired the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Federal Affairs, Peter Gol Nhim and appointed Clement Philmon Baime the new undersecretary.

The South Sudanese head of state also fire in another presidential decree the Undersecretary of Humanitarian Affairs Peter Gatwech Kulang and appointed Dr Kot Bol Nyuar as the new undersecretary.

He further fired the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Road and bridges, Engineer Jeremiah Turic, and appointed Peter Konyjiel as the new undersecretary.

Kiir went on to terminate the service of Jairo Ajang Cornillo as High Court Judge in Juba.
