JUBA – President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday met with a high-level delegation of the Islamic Call Organization and the delegation promised to support vulnerable family in term of Education and other humanitarian needs, according to the statement.
“His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit met in his Office with Qatar’s delegation from Munazzamat Al Dawah Al Islamiyah (MADA) Organization led by Sheikh Dr. Abdulharman al- Mahmuod,” the presidency statement reads in part.
The statement said that “the meeting focused on matters to do with human development, capacity building and alleviating vulnerable group to become self-reliance.”
It said that the head of delegation, Sheikh Dr. Abdulharman al- Mahmoud, briefed the president “on the activities of their organization and how it will enhance humanitarian and developmental projects in South Sudan.”
The delegation promised to “help the Government of South Sudan to improve the living conditions for the needy families and communities through many programs and projects in the fields of education, health, nutrition and poverty alleviation by caring and sponsoring the orphans, widows and people with disabilities.”
