BREAKING: Kiir names six deputy governors

JUBA – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has this evening issued a republican decree naming six of the ten states deputy governors.

The appointment comes hours after presidential security advisor, Tutkew Gatluak, announced in statements to journalists on Wednesday that the South Sudanese head of state would appoint the deputy governors today.

The appointed are:

1 – Mery Ludyra for Eastern Eqauteria State – SPLM-IO.

2 – Hon. Zacharia Joseph Garang ,Deputy Governor of Western Bhar El Ghazal State – SPLM-IG.

3 – Hon.Tor Tungwar Kueiguong, Deputy Governor of Unity State – SPLM-IO.

4 – Hon. Poth Madit, Deputy Governor of Lakes State – SPLM-IO.

5 – Hon. Badagbu Daniel , Deputy governor of Western Eqauteria State – SPLM-IG.

6 – Hon. Antifas Nuogk,Deputy Governor of Jonglei State – SPLM-IG.
