JUBA – South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a republican order reconstituting the National Communication, Media, and Broadcasting authorities.
According to a presidential order read out on the state owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) on Wednesday evening, Kiir dissolved and reconstituted the communication, media and broadcasting authorities.
Below are the appointments:
Board of Directors of the National Communication Authority
1- Professor John Akec, Chairman of the Board
2- Jean Mellit Kowal, Vice Chairman of the Board
3- Nabilo Adok Gai, Board Secretary
4- General Akol Kor as a member
5- Dr. Lado Wani Kenji as a member
6- Ochung Genesis Carlos as a member
7- Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development, as a member
8- Elijah Ali as a member
9- Simon Akwe Deng, representative of the financial and business community, member
Board of Directors of the National Media Authority
1- Atong Mueul Kaur Chairman of the Board
2- Joseph Ihiya Oday, Vice President
3- Elijah Alire Quay, Council Secretary
4- Teresa Medisto as a member
5- Irene Aya as a member
6- Majok Ayi Maruel as a member
7- Victor Pollen Papa as a member
8- Aju Lol Akwe Member
9- Abraham Meriak Albino, Member
South Sudan National Broadcasting Authority:
1- Mai Ajith Goj, Chairman of the Council
