JUBA – President Salva Kiir on Friday evening issued several republican decrees sacking at least three state ministers of Warrap State and a county commissioner over the recent violence in which armed youth from Warrap state attacked southern Abyei region.

On Monday, armed youth launched multiple attacks in areas of southern Abyei including Aneet killing around 25 innocent civilians, according to senior government officials in Abyei who said local youth had to step up efforts to give protection in the border areas with Warrap.

In his first decree read out on the state-own South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), Kiir removed Warrap State information minister Riing Deng Ading.

He replaced him in a separate decree with William Wol Mayom.

The president also sacked the minister of Public Service and Human Resource Development Mario Malook Lual and replaced him with Bath Gur Deng.

He separately relieved the minister of parliamentary affairs Ater Kuei Thiep and replaced him with Angelo Aniin Ngot.

Kiir further sacked Tonj North Commissioner Kuol Akoon who was suspended in June over deteriorating security situation in the area by Governor Alieu Anyieny and replaced him with Andrea Ayok Malueth.

While the president did not cite reasons for the changes, a presidency source told Sudans Post that Riing, the sacked information minister, was sacked over remarks that the presidency believes contributed to the violence between Ngok and Twic Dinka.

Sudans Post cannot however verify the authenticity of the claim.

Sudan Post was my most trusted source all this time until I come to realise that it was a media ran by some people with no media ethics totally.
A media outlet doesn’t involve itself to the extent of showing which side it is supporting in a broad daylight like this.
This has prompted me to withdraw my trust in like news and from today onwards I will never trust whatever it has written as it does projects the true image of what is happening on the ground.
