JUBA – South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit issued a series of presidential decrees on Friday night, resulting in the dismissal of the Executive Director in the Office of the President and his private secretary.

In his first decree, broadcasted on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), President Kiir relieved Kiir Lol Yor Lual from his position as the executive director, a role he had held since his appointment last year.

In another decree announced on the same broadcaster, Kiir appointed Simon Juach Deng, South Sudan’s ambassador to Uganda, as the new executive director.

He hails from Kiir’s home-state of Warrap.

Additionally, President Kiir terminated the services of his private secretary, Bang Wieu Koor, and appointed Atak Santino Majak as his replacement.

No official reasons were provided by the head of state for these personnel changes.

It comes to my knowledge that our heroes, heroines and parents had died in vain, streets kids everywhere in the country and nobody cares.
youths die day and night, others in prisons within the all prisons in the country and nobody talks about it. Poor health facilities and nobody talks about it, poor infrastructure inform of road, youths are starving in the country and nobody talks about it. For how long should we continue like this?. trust me
if youths rebel against this government, there will be no peace agreement anymore.
We were promised in 2005 that we are heading to a promise Land but we ended up in the refugee camps.
some of us are on the street.
we only heard Mr. so is degree in and Ms. so is degree out but we don’t hear a degree about health facilities, infrastructure, agriculture, insecurity and hunger are being degreed out in country.
