JUBA – The governor of South Sudan’s central bank, James Alic Garang, has said that President Salva Kiir Mayardit will on Monday inaugurate the new headquarters of the country’s top financial institution, the central bank.
Alic in statements during an inspection visit expressed optimism about the upcoming inauguration of the bank’s new headquarters, calling it a symbol of South Sudan’s economic progress, during an inspection visit today.
“The new headquarters is more than just a building; it represents the significant strides South Sudan has made towards economic stability,” Garang said.
“This state-of-the-art facility signifies our commitment to fostering a robust financial infrastructure that will drive future growth for the nation,” he added.
Located in the heart of Juba, the iconic building is expected to become a defining feature of the city skyline.
