Kiir to travel to Bor today

President Salva Kiir Mayardit is traveling to Jonglei State capital Bor today to inaugurate a building at Dr. John Garang Memorial University, Radio Tamazuj reports quoting the state minister of information John Samuel Manyuon.

JUBA – President Salva Kiir Mayardit is traveling to Jonglei State capital Bor today to inaugurate a building at Dr. John Garang Memorial University, Radio Tamazuj reports quoting the state minister of information John Samuel Manyuon.

“Tomorrow (Thursday), the president is coming to the state headquarters of Bor to inaugurate a building at the Dr. John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology,” Manyuon is quoted as saying.

“It is the main purpose why the president is coming and it is actually a fresh construction that has taken place,” the senior state official added.

For his part, the, the Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Abraham Matoc conforming the function without details.

“Yes, they are actually going to be inaugurating the university tomorrow,” he said.
