JUBA – South Sudan’s main armed opposition group SPLM-IO led by First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny has said that it won’t accept to go for elections before unification of the rival forces, but said it is for conduct of elections on time if militaries are unified.

This comes after President Salva Kiir Mayardit’s office said in a public statement on Monday that elections won’t take place as planned in 2022 and that calls for elections by critics and Western powers on time are have no justifications.

Speaking to Sudans Post in an exclusive interview on Tuesday night, senior SPLM-IO member and close ally of Machar, Dut Majokdit, said the main armed opposition group wants elections on time, but won’t go for it before implementation of the security arrangements which provides for a unified national army comprising the rival forces.

“We want elections on time,” Majokdit said from Juba. “the ITGONU should demonstrate political will for expeditious implementation of all the provisions of the revitalized peace agreement before elections are conducted in 2022.”

The senior opposition official said the main armed opposition group won’t accept any elections with what he described as ‘one-sided’ army saying reunification of the army and return of the displaced person should be the top priority before elections are made.

“The SPLM/SPLA (IO) won’t and can’t go for elections with one-sided police and national security forces in the country,” he said.

“We need to have the Unified Forces and return our people to the country to enable them participation in the voting process to choose their next leader,” he said, urging the SPLM-IG under Kiir to “demonstrate commitment and the needed political will to implement the agreement in spirit as signed in letter so that we prepare for elections.”

Appeal for ‘confidence’ in IO

Majokdit further urged the people of South Sudan to build confidence in the main armed opposition group saying the ruling SPLM faction under Kiir has failed.

“SPLM-IG has already failed and the evidence is what has been happening since 2013 and their recent admission of this fact,” he said.

“It is time for the people of South Sudan to build trust and confidence in SPLM-IO to win the upcoming election to deliver basics services and fulfill the promise of the liberation struggle,” he added.

Majokdit, be very careful with your dealing with Mr. Riek Machar chap. Any South Sudanese with a clean brain and blood cannot associate himself/herself to devil worshipper, foreign puppet/stooge, a secret society criminal and a traitor who sold his soul and life to his foreign masters.

And he thought, he can also sell South Sudan and South Sudanese people to his foreign masters. Good luck to him and his followers.

Just look how he smiles and the cap he is wearing—–the UN and the NGOs.

Mr. Majokdit. Any South Sudanese desperate for the so-called UN NEW WORLD ORDER government project or the so-called AFRICA UNITY and REGIONAL INTEGRATION must have his/her skull examines.

But as always the case, fake PhD doctors and empty headed policiticians are always projected over the well informed South Sudanese.

This time around, it will be what village in or community to in South Sudan would want to be occupied by foreigners on the pretext of the Humanitarian aid, donations, so-called human rights, peacekeeping again.

But for all l care, the criminals who are desperate for the UN and NGOs would be the first to rebel against UN, NGOs and foreigners occupation of villagers later.

But as far as I am concerned, not a single Muonyjieng/Dinka village will ever again be touched by foreign vermins or parasites.
