Police identified the deceased as Veronica Acheng, a resident of Guolyar town.
Lakes State police spokesperson, Major Elijah Mabor Mabor said they are probing the matter.
“So, for this case her husband was arrested and the case needs to be investigated thoroughly because the victim was found hanging in the same room they are using and the husband was inside”, he said.
Mabor described the case as “complicated,” requiring proper investigation.
According to the officer, a lot of alcohol bottles littered the scene of crime.
He said police would carry out proper investigations on the matter.
