JUBA – Facebook experienced a widespread outage, affecting hundreds of millions of users worldwide who found themselves unable to access their accounts.

Many users reported being logged out of their accounts unexpectedly, encountering an error message when attempting to log back in.

The message read: “An unexpected error occurred, please try logging in again.”

Emmanuel K. Jackson, a Facebook user, queried whether others were experiencing the outage, stating, “Anyone experiencing this on Facebook?”

Another user commented, “I found myself logged out unexpectedly.”

While the cause of the outage remains unclear, some users mentioned a general problem with Facebook accounts.

While many users highlighted that the issue seemed to be global, Sudans Post could not independently verify this claim.

The outage began at 5:30 PM and was later resolved by 6:30 PM.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook parent company, Meta, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reassure users that the technical issues would be addressed.

“Chill guys, wait a few minutes, everything will be solved,” said Zuckerberg, although he did not specify the nature of the problem.
