P-Square to perform in Juba on Christmas day in first visit to South Sudan

LAGOS/JUBA – Nigerian legendary music duo, Peter and Paul Okoye (P-Square) have just announced that they will perform in a peace concert in South Sudan’s capital Juba on Christmas Day, according to a statement.

In the statement seen by Sudans Post, the ‘Do Me’ hit-makers said they will perform at Dr. John Garang de’ Mabior Mausoleum on December 25 for peace and have invited people of all ages to support the concert.

“South Sudan, you know it’s your boys P-Square and guess what? We are coming for Together for Peace Concert happening in Juba on December 25th, 2022 at Dr. John Garang Mausoleum,” the duo said in the statement issued this evening.

“We are inviting everyone in Juba to attend in big numbers to support this peace initiative with a mission to connect, unite and entertain South Sudanese peace lovers,” they added.

They promised that “You’re about to expect our biggest electric performance ever in the history. Let’s make history together.”

When contacted by Sudans Post, Awet Alor, South Sudan music promoter who is better known as Promota K2, confirmed the announcement and said the public is invited to attend and support the peace concert.

    It’s indeed a big celebration for us all my fellow Sudanese(south) citizens.but,you know what,it’s combination of 2 big celebration ,peace to emergent and Mary Christmas celebration.
    Let’s hold ours hands together to promote prevalence peace.let’s forget conflicts and let the peace take the leads.
