KHARTOUM, APRIL 24, 2023 (SUDANS POST) – The Facebook page of the commander of Rapid Support Forces General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo who is locally known in Sudan as Hemedti is being managed from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The UAE is one of the countries suspected of supporting the controversial militia group’s ongoing war against the Sudanese army.

Sudans Post’s investigation, using Facebook’s Page Transparency feature, revealed a UAE address as one of the page managers.

However, the page has recently been updated, and now it shows only one page manager location, which is hidden from the public.

These revelations raise concerns about roles of foreign countries in supporting the RSF’s activities and propaganda within Sudan.

Criticisms have been aimed at Hemedti, who has been accused of using electronic committees to create a positive view of the RSF among the Sudanese people.
