KYIV (AGENCIES) – Ukrainian politicians and media report that a representative of Ukraine’s first Homiel delegation to negotiate with Russia is suspected of treason.

In his Telegram, Ukrainian journalist and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation Oleksandr Dubinsky reported that Denis Kireev turned out to be a Russian spy. During the detention, he was killed.

The “Ukrainska Pravda” media reports that during the detention, the SBU shot and killed a member of the Ukrainian delegation in Homiel Denis Kireev. He was suspected of high treason.

In his Telegram, Ukrainian journalist and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation Oleksandr Dubinsky wrote that Denis Kireev worked in various business structures, including senior positions of multiple banks.

“How did he get into the delegation of Ukraine to negotiate with the occupiers? This is what I want to find out in the office of the President,” writes the Ukrainian journalist.

The Security Service had exact data on Kireev’s treason, including telephone conversations.
