South Sudan may witness coup, bomb blast, claims Nigerian cleric

In a statement extended to Sudans Post, Prophet Primate Ayodele said in a prophecy on South Sudan and a number of other African countries that he foresees yet another coup in Africa if the government of South Sudan doesn’t take the right step now, saying a unnamed rebel movement is being used by a foreign to change the government there.

JUBA – A Nigerian cleric has claimed that an upcoming African coup may take place in South Sudan, warning President Salva Kiir Mayardit to take precautionary measures to make sure that those he termed ‘enemies of the country’ do not take advantages of loopholes in the country’s security and defense system.

“He made it known that a new rebel sponsored by the enemies of the country are warming up to destabilize the smooth transition to democracy in the country,” a spokesman for the Nigerian man of God, said the statement that also warned of the same in Libya, Somalia and also Sudan.

Prophet Ayodele said went on to advise President Kiir to take some precautionary measures to thwart the coup which he said seems to be inevitable given the South Sudan government inaction and also said a bomb blast will take place in the country.

“If the government doesn’t take the right step now, another coup is coming up in Africa because new rebels sponsored by enemies of the country are warming up to destabilize the smooth transition of the country to democracy,” Prophet Ayodele said.

While recommending a divine intervention for South Sudan, the Nigerian prophet urged President Salva Kiir Mayardit to resolve the long-standing ethnic crisis in the country and urged Kiir to use other rebels to fight the new rebels.

“This will cause the government a lot and there is a need to put the economy in order. Let the government work on ethnicity crisis, movement of immigrants, fight the new rebels with other rebels, they will lose at the end of the day,” he said.

“South Sudan needs divine intervention in order to end the long time war and crisis. Meanwhile, the president and government official must be very careful of bomb blast. They should also pray so a prominent person will not die in the administration. There will also be troubles in reviewing the constitution in South Sudan,” he added.
