JUBA –  South Sudan government official and senior member of the country’s opposition South Sudan Patriotic Movement, Stephen Lual Ngor, has condemned recent attack on Saudi economic infrastructure by Islamic militia group, Ansar Allah Group.

In a statement to Sudans Post, Lual said that targeting of the reservoirs of Ras Tanura port and the facilities of Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during an attack by the members of the Ansar Allah group is a threat that he said is targeting the movement of the global economy.

Lual said that the repeated attack on Saudi Arabia poses a serious threat to energy supplies and global shipping traffic.

“We in South Sudan are in a constant solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Lual told Sudans Post.

“It is our duty as a people and countries who are friendly to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to condemn such terrorist crimes and denounce it in the strongest terms against the targeting of civilians and civilian facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with drones bombs,” he added.

The senior opposition official further said the actions of the Islamic group is a threat to the global economic navigation and it must be stopped immediately.
