JUBA – South Sudan protests sparked by the killing – this morning – of four single family members by president Salva Kiir’s son are calling for the head of state to resign.

This morning, a son of President Salva Kiir opened fire on a family outside the capital Juba killing four over a dispute on a piece of land.

The man known to locals as Lual-Marine, is responsible for the killing.

He has been known to many people in the capital as son of President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

Speaking to Sudans Post from Juba, a an angry protester said Kiir must resign because he has failed to provide security to the country’s citizens from his relatives.

“Kiir has failed to protect the people of South Sudan from his relatives especially from children and so he must resign,” the protester said.
