JUBA — The South Sudan 5th governor’s forum has kick off in the country’s capital Juba on Monday morning with First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny officiating it.
The five-day event brings together the country’s ten state governors, national ministers, and administrators from the three administrative areas.
The forum aims to enhance strategic partnership between development partners, UN agencies supporting developmental projects, empowerment, and investments.
It is being held at the Freedom Hall in Juba under the theme “The Role of States and Special Administrative Areas in the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement for the peaceful, stable and prosperous South Sudan.”
