JUBA – A South Sudan main armed opposition official is saying that the country’s minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management Peter Mayen Majongdit should not be allowed under any circumstances to create instability in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state.

This comes after the minister attacked a women football’s game at Aweil Freedom Square in which the minster was not happy that his wife identified as Aluel Garang – better known as Aluel ‘Messi’ – was among the players.

According to eye witnesses, the minister was also supported by Aluel’s family.

In a statement on his social media Facebook page, Dut Majokdit, a senior SPLM-IO member and a former member of the opposition Northern Bahr el Ghazal state government, said the minister has no right to shoot in the air to scare people in Aweil because of a wife’s participation.

“Hon. Minister Peter Mayen Majongdit has no right to fire the bullets at Aweil Freedom Square to scare the citizens for being husband to Aluel Messi. It is disgrace. The in-laws are wrong to Support this unlawful act committed by their in-law,” Majokdit said.

“You have to advice your wife at home before coming out to the public. Hon. Minister Peter was about to create the insecurity in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State. Aweil is peaceful state in the country and we can’t allow someone to create insecurity to our people in the State,” he added.

He further urged the state government to bring the minister to account.

I think the Minister Mr. Mayen Majongdit was wrong and he must accepted what he did was unacceptable. If his wife not listen to him until she went and played with girls then, I will take her to court and let her go because she is not see herself as a woman. Why not find another woman and marriage her instead of this woman going to playing with girls.

South Sudan constitution give every citizen due right. she is part of the due right and non has the right to derive it off from her neither her parent not mentioning husband by default

second he is just minister who gave him right to order police to fire bullet?
I hope our parliament could impeach him

“SPLM-IO official says minister Mayen should not be allowed create ‘insecurity’ in Aweil”

‘Mith ke Aweil or Malual Giernyang/Muonyjiengs/ Jiengs/Dinkas/Jenges and our Ngok Atung diak boys/girls, worry less’. Let our women and daughters do what they want to do. They think, they have fought our enemies very much, and that, it is their times. That is almost 100% true,

But they have to be very careful. Some low lives who cannot even make a living in Europe, America and other countries are ‘brought here into our country and over our people, in the name of the so-called *UN, humanitarian aid, donations, peacekeeping, human rights and all*. But the low lives are playing with fire.

The so-called UN NEW WORLD ORDER and NGOs was to be *experimented here in South Sudan, Venezuela (read the merchants of Venice by William Shakespeare). The Conquistadors just went to Latin America and then went and named Venezuela, after Venice, because it is in a swamp like Venice, some South Sudanese who might have went to Venezuela would have find ‘anaconda or Anyiel-like or python-like reptile’.

People of Cuba are respected here in South Sudan. *Alligators* are our Nile crocodile-like reptiles, infested Florida swamps and Louisiana.

Mr. Castro and the people of Cuba helped our mighty SPLM/A during the so-called COLD WAR. And most of our best Medical doctors today are in Canada, the US and some of them are here in South Sudan.

Our South Sudan is almost in the swamp, the Sudd.

But their Elephant in the room is us, the Egyptians and the owners of the Nile.

Indeed Aweil is peaceful but this doesn’t mean stupidity. What Mayen did at the Freedom Square is of no reason and a huge sign of idiocy and illiteracy. My appeal to the goverment is that he (Mayen) should be brought into account for this misbehaviour in Aweil.
