JUBA – The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition Youth League has dispatched a high-level delegation to the protection of civilian site in the capital Juba to quell power struggle between members in the camp, two sources have said.

One source said there has been internal divisions among members of the SPLM-IO youth league in the camp over the group’s structure, triggered the National office of the SPLM-IO youth league to sent in delegation to reconcile the groups.

“There has been infighting you know between the SPLM-IO youth league members in the camp over the structure of the leadership of the SPLM-IO youth league in the POC and that is why the leadership has decided to send in a delegation to reconcile them,” one senior member of the group told Sudans Post on condition of anonymity from Juba this morning.

Another official confirmed the matter, and said the team that was send and let by the SPLM-IO Secretary-General Jackson Wani has successfully reconciled the feuding members of the Youth League.

“The team was led by Cde. Secretary-General Jackson Wani and they have successfully reconciled the membership of the SPLM-IO youth league in the POC and they have once again embraced themselves as comrade,” the official said.

“It was actually a small misunderstanding and thankfully it is no more,” the official added.
