VP Taban names deputy press secretary for his office

In the letter, the vice-president said Stephen William Wichar Monytuil, a well-known columnist – and a graduate of law from Cairo University – will occupy the position effective immediately.

JUBA – South Sudan’s Vice President for Infrastructure Cluster Taban Deng Gai has named a deputy for his press secretary, according to a letter directed to the newly-appointed official and extended to Sudans Post this afternoon.

In the letter, the vice-president said Stephen William Wichar Monytuil, a well-known columnist – and a graduate of law from Cairo University – will occupy the position effective immediately.

“After consulting more extensively on your suitability for employment, I hereby approve your appointment as Deputy Press at grade: 2. effective from the date of signing of this letter,” says VP Taban in the letter.

He added that the new official’s “job description setting out your duties and responsibilities shall be printed for you in duplicate which you are expected to sign to signify that it is understood by you and will be adhered to at all times.”
