JUBA – The Executive Director of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO) Edmund Yakani has welcomed the graduation of the unified forces in Unity State and urged to the peace parties to commence as soon as possible the deployment of forces to enhance security across the country.
The call by the prominent activist comes a day after the peace parties graduated at least 1366 soldiers of the unified forces at Muom training center in southern Unity State’s Leer County, which had witnessed grim killings of innocent civilians earlier this year, according to the United Nations.
The graduation of forces in Unity State also came a few days following graduation of thousands of forces in Western Bahr el Ghazal’s capital Wau.
