JUBA – South Sudan’s controversial cleric Abraham Chol Makech is claiming that he is a chosen son of God and king, saying he should not have been named after his father who he said just gave birth to him.

“It has taken me a long journey to discover the reality of myself. The mother and father who gave birth to me said my name is Abraham Chol Makec,” told South Sudan’s Juba-based journalist Michael Christopher.

“I lived many years as Abraham Chol Makec. After I accepted Christ, I was named Abraham Chol Makech. Through the journey, I discovered that I am not Abraham Chol, nor am I the name given during my baptism,” he added.

He continued: “I came to discover a very strength thing that I am Abraham Cush, son of Adam, son of Allah, God’s king and King of the world.”
