JUBA – An employee working for the Eden Commercial Bank, a privately-owned bank in South Sudan, has allegedly fled with at least 50,000 United States Dollar.
Eden Commercial Bank’s Yei Branch Manager Mawa Wilson said, according to the City Review, that the unnamed official disappeared with the money on Monday and has not yet been found as search for him intensified.
“It happened on Monday and we don’t know how he disappeared up to now we don’t know where he has gone with the money,” Mawa said.
