The BMA, spearheaded by its Project Coordinator Robert Maliah (Promota Robert), will be an annual affair, providing a platform for Unity State’s musicians, actors, sports figures, and media personalities to showcase their talents and compete for recognition in various categories.
The awards will also offer a unique opportunity for stakeholders and individuals to nominate and honor entertainment personalities who have made significant contributions to uplifting the image of Unity State.
“We, as BMA, believe that appreciating and recognizing our artists is a powerful motivator leading to an increase in performance, productivity, and morale in the Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) Industry of Unity State,” stated the BMA Board of Decision Makers.
“Furthermore, it is meant to boost the artists’ consciousness towards their professionalism. Owing to that, the music critics will have a normalized rating of the artists’ products.”
The BMA intends to pave the way for career advancement for recognized artists, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to their craft.
With its annual presence in Bentiu, the BMA aims to establish itself as a renowned organization, recognizing and celebrating the exceptional work of Unity State’s MDD industry.
The inaugural BMA ceremony promises to be a grand celebration of Unity State’s diverse and vibrant music scene, providing a much-needed boost to the local arts and entertainment sector.
