Central Equatoria State acquires 6 vehicles for state officials

The deputy governor of Central Equatoria State Sarah Nene on Monday announced that her government has purchased six brand new Toyota Land Cruisers for cabinet ministers and county commissioners.

JUBA, OCTOBER 23, 2023 (SUDANS POST) – The deputy governor of Central Equatoria State Sarah Nene on Monday announced that her government has purchased six brand new Toyota Land Cruisers for cabinet ministers and county commissioners.

Speaking during the handover of the vehicles on Monday at the state secretariat, Nene said the vehicles will help state officials perform their duties and most importantly use them for the enhancement of security.

“I am happy today that these vehicles have been brought and they will be used for state officials to ease mobility, and it will help the counties officials discharge their roles effectively and without these vehicles, the work of the counties will not move on well,” she said.

She added that “Commissioners may find difficulties in moving to various areas and that is why these vehicles were bought to ease mobility of commissioners.”

For her part, Viana Kakuli Aggrey, State Minister of Finance, planning and Investment said cars will be distributed to state and local post holders.

“These 6 vehicles are going distributed as follows; one is for Kajo-Keji County, Yei River County, and Wonduruba Administrative Payam and protocol of state secretarial will get one, and the protocol office of deputy governor of Central Equatoria will get one and the Ministry of Youth and Sport will be given one,” said Kakuli.
