OPINION – Your excellency, I am writing to appeal to you to consider to remove the current sitting governor in Jonglei state as he fails your government and Jonglei in terms of security containment: he should be suspended or voluntarily stepped aside to pave way for further investigations on the matter. This begs the question; How come a traditional bandit’s attacked is charged on Cosmopolitan dwellers?

To brief you or take you through your past actions, I would like to bring to your attention the similar incident of Hon Thon Leek’s regime in 2009 which culminated into the killing of the Murle Patients in Jonglei Referral hospital. Your Excelelncy, on that day, as a loving president for his people and a president who minds for integrity of his country, you took swift action and removed H. E. Hon Thon Leek in order to arrest the situation.

On that note, I am calling your able leadership to immediately and with agility relieve Denay Jok Chagor for the common good of the two sisterly territories, that is GPAA and Jonglei. Your excellency this iota serves to bring to your attention that with Denay Jock as a governor, GPAA and Jonglei will have series of the attacks which will lead to escalation of the skirmishes into the whole country.

Without further ado, it is wise to relieve Denay Jock Chagor and hold him responsible for the killing of Seven (7) Murles within Bor town while he resides therein. Denay Jock Chagor should be investigated for further extraction of the other officials who are culprits on this matter. Your excellency incident tells me that even your own governor can be killed in the state capital which in turn is mundanity and a shame to your government from international eyes.

NB: The peace accord’s time has elapsed and it is at your discretion to interchange leaders whether on matters concerning security or any kind of your own reasons. Never hesitate on the removal matters.

Additionally, I would like to express my dismay and concern as a senior citizen of South Sudan and Jonglei as well that it is with regret and appall to hear the incident that happened in Bor town Jonglei – Headquarters. On the same note, I am here to convey my heartfelt condolence to the deceased’s families both Anyidi and GPAA. I am with you in the consoling mood and our God the creator will received the souls of our beloved sisters and daughters who have gone because of our human-made killings.

To conclude with, Anyidi Payam chiefs have to be sermon and bring the culprits into book for legal redress and further execution of the country judicial system. In doing so, you will be able to dwindle other repercussions that might pop up as a results of this incident. To Jonglei and South Sudan at a large, I urging you to remain calm as the matter is on the table of H. E. Salva Kirr, the president of Republic of South Sudan for corrective mechanism.

    Dear brother,
You’re misinformed, sold out and a fool enough to know how things go.

Denay didn’t kill the 7 Murle. Dinka community killed them. The reason why it happened is because they intended to spoil the leadership of the governor because of unsatisfactory appointment of ministers of Jonglei that left Dinka unhappy.

You’re in Kenya and we’re here home. We know more than you do. Thank you!
