OPINION – The scandalous former cashier of Nilepet Ring Charles has created a political lobby organisation which he says will lobby for sacking of Nilepet Managing Director Achol Deng Thon.

The organisation called South Sudan Youth Society was launched in Juba last week. It is disguised as a non-profit organisation but according to sources Ring wants to this new platform to fight people he deemed to be behind his sacking at Nilepet.

The source privy to the formation of South Sudan Youth Society said Ring is targeting Chol Thon, managing director of Nilepet, Secretary General of South Sudan Youth Union Bang Bang, South Sudan Civil Society Alliance Akuoch Ajang, Mike Makor, Chairman of South Sudan Students Union among others.

Ring Charles according to a close friend who we can’t name here for fear of jeopardising their friendship is alleging that Dr. Chol is only leaning on Lual-maroldit whose days are numbered due to his fight with Tut Kew.

He also bragged that he is only going to work with Bol Dhieu, the youth minister and Gola Boyoi, the chairperson of South Sudan Youth Union but with one condition that he is going to relieve the secretary general Dr. Bang Bang.

Ring Charles is said to be very angry and bitter over his sacking as a cashier at Nilepet.

He says now that he has enough money to finish his perceived opponents politically no matter what it takes.

He was accused of embezzlement of Nilepet money. According to report by new administration, the company’s main account with a local bank was left with only $60 after almost everything was withdrawn under Bol Ring’s tenure.
