JUBA – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has appointed his son – Thiik Salva Kiir Mayardit – as deputy executive director in the office of the president a year after the president removed Thiik’s predecessor, Sudans Post has learned.
“This week, the president in a move seen by many as preparation of his son for the thrown, President Salva has appointed his son, Thiik Kiir Mayardit, as the deputy executive director in the office of the president,” one senior presidency staff member told Sudans Post from Juba this morning on condition of anonymity.
According to several other senior presidency officials, Thiik’s mother hails from Bor and died during the liberation struggle and was buried in Magwi County of Eastern Equatoria state and people are suggesting the president is grooming his soon.
“What is happening in South Sudan is exactly what is happening in Uganda where Museveni is preparing his son to replace him. There is likelihood that the president will try hard to leave his son as the president when he leave the thrown,” one source said.
Another official said the newly-appointed official has not been in good terms with the incumbents in the office of the president with some expressing disappointments on how he landed in the top office of the world’s youngest country.
“Nothin is good with his coming, he has been in bad terms with every one in the presidency and all are not happy and disappointed with him,” the official said.
The same official further said the appointment was not broadcasted on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC) because of fears of backlash from the citizens.
“That didn’t happen because if that has been announced on SSBC or on Facebook, it will cause controversy and this will be very bad for the image of the president,” the official added.

Let him take that ‘post’ if he thinks, he would be better at that job and get away with it.*SUDANS POST*, is becoming yet another *SUDAN TRIBUNE, RADIO TAMAZUJ, Kenya’s DAILY NATION, Ugandan’s NEW VISION, NEW YORK TIMES and other piece of ‘tabloids’* in between which have attached themselves to our country and over our people.
Lowly informed South Sudanese fools, in 1999,”one country, two systems”; was propagated in Machakos, Nairob, Naivisha, Kenya by our enemies some of our enemies often called their allies.

These vermins/parasites are ‘our Nuers ke nayntoc low lives’. Let these vermins/parasites bring their evil long noses into South Sudan again and hope, they would be respected again.
