Kiir to visit Northern Bahr el Ghazal state’s Aweil

South Sudan's President Salva Kiir Mayardit is planning to visit Aweil this month, a senior presidency official who is familiar of the planned presidential visit told Sudans Post on Monday morning.

JUBA – South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit is planning to visit Aweil this month, a senior presidency official who is familiar of the planned presidential visit told Sudans Post on Monday morning.

“President Salva Kiir Mayardit is planning to visit the capital of Northern Bahr el Ghazal state to go and familiarize himself with the situation of the citizens in the area,” the official told a Sudans Post reporter in Juba.

The senior presidency official further said that the president will be accompanied by two vice-presidents, Hussein Abdelbaggi and another vice president that he said hasn’t yet been decided on.

“The President will be accompanied by Vice-President Hussein Abdelbaggi and anther vice-president who will be decided at when he is about to be received in Northern Bahr el Ghazal state capital Aweil,” the official added.
