Malong appoints military chief, deputy military chiefs

In the decree, Malong appointed General Malang Kerbino Kuanyin Bol as the chief of staff, former Taban spokesman General Dickson Gatluak Joak as deputy chief of staff for administration and finance.

JUBA – South Sudan’s former army chief General Paul Malong Awan Anei has appointed a military chief of general staff for the South Sudan United Front/Army, according to a decree extended to Sudans Post.

In the decree, Malong appointed General Malang Kerbino Kuanyin Bol as the chief of staff, former Taban spokesman General Dickson Gatluak Joak as deputy chief of staff for administration and finance.

General Malong also appointed General Agany Deng Baak as Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations, General Philip Okuot Obich as Deputy Chief of General Staff for Military Moral Orientation, General Emmanuel Majur Majak as Director of Military Intelligence.

Malong added that the “order shall come into force from the date of its signature by the Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of South Sudan United Front/Army (SSUF/IA).”
