OPINION – The Bul community now endures complaints of total political isolation from the Nuer nation. Bul community is described to be ‘Nuer Wew’. All these unnecessary accusations were indeed created against us in order to provoke and tarnish our dignitaries within the Republic of South Sudan. But this would never change our commitment to be focused always at the right things as was previously when we have chosen to back the government position in the South Sudan rather than to supporting what was then supported by other communities as SPLM-IO war.

The reason that was in our mind as leaders of Bul community to remain behind with the government of the Republic of South Sudan was out believe that the war was between two adversaries: government of South Sudan, and the opposition group, SPLM-IO.

Presumably the quarrels was nevertheless had therefore started in the SPLM Political Bureau on December 14th 2013 and that meeting was then adjourned December 15th 2013. What has signified to have triggered the war, Bul community intellectuals, students of the various Universities & Higher Institutes doesn’t theoretically knew when the bullets went out by that night around 10pm on Dec 15th 2013.

Again we thought that SPLM leaders were of course differed in the meeting, and the war shall be brought to halt on December 16th 2013 to my expectation thereby. My fellows Nuer if should that war was basically discussed as if it was between Nuer and Chollo Or Nuer and Dinka or it was a war of tribes, Bul community shall be with their brothers & sister in Nuer nation whatever circumstances might be. Unfortunately because that post war of December 2013, was never discussed at viewpoints of clarification, Bul community stood with Gen. Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan.

Please, brothers and sisters from the 4 Nuer Communities, never blaming us Bul people on so and so. If however, the presences of Bul community in the IO movement seems very important, then who was the late Gen. Peter Gatdet Yak, Brigadier Gen. Police James Makuar Gatluak, Gen. Michael Makal Kuol, Gen. Michael Chiangjiek Gaey Mut, Brigd Gen Lim Bol Badeang, and plus other heroes officers of which 60 officers died in actions?

As Nuer we must not take things on granted, we must copying from other communities as to taking or substituting bullets war with the election war of casting ballots vote.  Now let us unite as Nuer nation of peace and tranquility, and not as enemies to our entire government in the Republic of South Sudan.

Long live SPLM governing party.

Long live President Salva Kiir Mayardit & his five vice-presidents.

Long live the 64 communities of South Sudan.

Thanks.
