JUBA – Former South Sudan minister of interior and senior member of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition Mabior Garang De Mabior has described the revitalized peace agreement as a politics of jobs meant to loot the country.

Mabior who is also the SPLM-IO chairperson of national information committee wrote on his social media Facebook page that unnamed ‘NPTC’ officials have staged a silent coup against the peace agreement.

“There was a silent coup by some politicians in the NPTC which has collapsed the current Agreement,” Mabior wrote.

“The current peace process has become nothing more than politics of jobs and looting our national wealth,” he added.

He further warned that “If a new scientific approach is not adopted, our nascent Republic shall continue to descend further into the abyss.”
