JUBA – South Sudan information minister Michael Makuei has said that he has not resigned rubbishing reports which has been circulating on social media alleging his resignation.
“This is to inform all the general public and the citizens of South Sudan in particular that the news been circulated on the social media that the Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, Hon. Michael Makuei Lueth has resigned, is a baseless information and considered as fake news.
“The poster aims intended to creat fear among the citizens. Hon. Michael Makuei yesterday immediately after the presidency decision went to the National TV and Radio (SSBC) and urges the people of South Sudan to support the decision made by the Leadership for the greater interest of the people of South Sudan.
“Those who created such stories are the enemies of peace and have ill intentions for our beloved Country so Please don’t believe on any of the news published on irrelevant source of Information get the formal news from the credible sources, so please let’s support our President and peace.
